FYI - The car they used on the TV show was actually a Satellite!
They had 2 Satellite's for the series and they were a pain in the A** to the film crew to keep running. Thus the decision to dump it off the cliff and bring in the Dixie Jeep. |

That's gonna' be one great looking build!!
For some reason I never took a liking to this body style, but has grown on me over the years. On the other hand the ;71 & '72 Satellite/Roadrunner style is my Favorite of that era, why I don't know, just something about the nose of the '71's & '72's////// _________________ Ed. K |

NICE!!!!! I had a '73 right off the showroom floor. Gold with white trim, 360 cu. in. automatic with the "slapstick". Always wanted a '68 but that was before I had a license. My buddy had a '72 but I never cared for the style. The '73 was OK but in my eyes the REAL Roadrunners were '68 to '70. Just my opinion, great job, I might just build me one!---John
