Since I posted the completed Skylab rocket I Just had to show this one again!

My Saturn V Apollo and LUT!!!

This is the one I built back in the early 70's and many years after the move from Cleveland to NC I bought and built 2 paper kita off ebay... The LUT (Launch Umbilical Tower) and the Crawler/Transporter!

Looks great Randy! Very nicely done. The company I used to work for built a satellite named Coriolis and it required the last working Saturn V to get it to space. It was large and was for the US Navy.

They are still for sale on ebay right now from the seller who sold me mine...

Lots of cutting and folding and gluing! Also don't think it cost quite as much when I bought mine.

Well I built this one way back in the early 70's (45 years ago or so) when it first came out and don't recall any of the issues I had with the one I built the skylab version from... namely the holes in the stage cylinder sheets that didn't line up!!! Not saying it wasn't the same ... just don't remember Shocked ...

BTW... Lanny the lut and transporter is a paper model that comes in sheets that have to be cut out and assembled and all of the detailing is printed so yu don't have to do any detailing... there was the frame of the crane on top which if you look closely you see is white on the inside (I forgot to color that part before assembly and didn't think I could get to it all!!!)
