Woodie was from Mobile, Alabama and he was the head official at my home track of Mobile International Speedway from the time the track opened in '64 until some time in the late '70s. He was a very helpful, nice guy. I've asked his son if he has any other photos.

Just goes to show you the b/w picture as opposed to the color picture how different things really are.

Thanks for pix. I always thought the car was white with red #. In fact in the 61 Pontiac picture thread, there is a pix of a white car with red #5. Any idea who drove that ohe?

Might be H.G. Rosier, it looks almost like a former Cotton Owens car.
