This is copied and pasted from the web archive of the old board. It was originally posted by DucksFan.

98-99

This is the first years of the Tauri. The biggest give-away is the oval head lights & fog lights + the rear window is round. (body has a overall a oval shape ie jellybean)

00-03

This is where the made the car a little bit less plump vs the 90s body. Head lights are more a diamond shape.

04-05

Keeps the same shape as the 00-03, but the grille is more rectangle. Allot of teams eliminate the bottom front grill as well.

The tail end changed as well, but the Revell kit only did the update only 3 times (those years above that I broke it down into)

Kits are

98-99 KIT EXAMPLE

#99 Exide, #6 Valvoline, #26 Cheerios, #88 Ford QC, #94 McDs, #94 Gold McDs & various #9 Cartoon Network schemes, like 3 or 4 of them

00-03 KIT EXAMPLE

#6 Valvy, #88 UPS, #38 M&Ms, #6 Viagra

04-05 #17 DeWalt only KIT EXAMPLE

Also best to go off of sponsorships as well.

A pillar logos

98 the 50th anv of nascar logo, 00 is the 2000 logo

98-03 Winston Cup Series

04-05 NEXTEL Cup Series

Other various sponsers. When it doubt just ask on here. As allot of the Fords have changed sponsership when it comes to Revell kits.

couple are here
98-99 #88 Ford QC
00- #88 Pro Finish *note this is where it gets fun
01-03 #88 UPS

98-99 #6 Valvoline Vs on the side scheme
00 #6 "sharktooth pattern"
01 - #6 Viagra Mostly silver & blue
02 #6 Viagra mostly black with blue

Pro-finish prepainted bodies kit (ie the blue box)

#88 Ford Quality Care 2000
#28 Havoline 2000
#17 DeWalt 2000

this is more of an accurate body for the Ford, but most decals are off a bit due to there is that much difference in these & the regular glue kits. JWTBM decals fit these better then the regular glue kits where Slixx decals fit the glue kits (example- a few years ago I tried to put the 28 decals on one & it almost looked like I was putting 1/24 decals on a 1/25 body).

Hope this helps
