Bought this kit cheap at hobby lobby a few years back and really didn't know what to do with it, the decals weren't to my taste and the car was molded in blue. The leaf spring rear end is also totally wrong. Then I tried a can of Testers light blue enamel with some trepidation, the paint laid down pretty good, and it turns out that converting to a long truck arm rear suspension was practically a drop in. Just a little nip and tuck! You need an old AMT NASCAR donor, though! So I thought lets just have a little fun and build a box art model. I never did that before.

Nice! You make that MPC chassis look respectable!

Cool build Slim!! I think I'm going to follow you on this one, bought one cheap same as you and liked the Pepsi decals on the car. Straight outta the box it will be for me as well. Any tips for this build?

Moved the front down tube of the cage back a little, now the body and chassis line up a little better. I can live with this!
