Here's a 33 Chevy I did awhile back. I started with an AMT 34 Ford 5 window coupe then cut, lengthened and filled the body to get it to look right. I used a modified AMT 37 Chevy frame with a scratch cage, bumpers, seat with belts and gauges. Power is a straight 8 Buick made from 2 AMT 37models040 - Copy by Richard Sipos, on Flickr Chevy 6s with a scratch made valve cover. Enjoy Thanks for looking.TIPS7howTO020 by Richard Sipos, on Flickrmodels046 by Richard Sipos, on FlickrPicture005 by Picture005 by Richard Sipos, on Flickrww.flickr.com/photos/156774118@N08/]Richard Sipos[/url], on Flickr

I gotta ask, did you build the body, and fireball I8, as a personal challenge? I say this because both are available in resin. Just curious.

I did the body back years ago before any one was casting them, it is an old build. The engine I did the same time, I thought the one that was cast was a bit pricey. After I did the body I was asked to do a master for one of the resin casters and did many. As a teen I had a 33 Chevy 3 window I was working on. |

Rich;
I suspected as much. I have one of Big Donkeys Chevy 3 window coupe body, and hood, sets. I got a Fireball8 resin kit off this forum that isn’t like any being currently offered, so I don’t know who made it. I took a ‘39 Chevy coupe glue bomb, and converted it to resemble a ‘39 Buick coupe to go with the I/8. An early dirt modified is the goal.
I can’t wait to see you coupe finished.
