The Moderators have discussed this, and we have decided that signatures and avatars that promote or ridicule a political philosophy or belief will no longer be permitted. Please take a look at your profile and remove or modify anything that promotes a political belief or philosophy. Political discussion is still welcome in The Social Hall if you keep it civil, but putting political statements in your profile then posting in other sections drags politics into places on the board where it's neither appropriate nor welcome.

Don't even bother comparing it to religion. I won't ask people to remove images, Bible verses, or other non-confrontational symbols of their religion. Don't abuse the privilege, if religious sigs and avatars start to push the envelope toward being personal attacks on those with different beliefs I'll have to get involved and none of us really want the Moderators playing nanny. Most of the members here on the board are adults, you know how to behave and you know what is inflammatory. Don't go there.
