Oh for the days when indycar teams where not ashamed to put readable numbers on the cars.
These days hard to tell one car from the other (the cars all are the same),
and lots of space on the current cars for big numbers due to lack of sponsorship... |

The Indy cars are a couple of the old AMT Penski kits with custom/alps decals.
The 1965 Ford is a plastic AMT kit. |

Is the rear bumper missing from one of the Ranier Regals? It went missing after a crash at Talladega in 1981, where he went in to win (!). Must have given the idea to Gary Nelson for the 1982 Daytona 500.
All nice stuff, the Pontiacs are really nice especially considering all the extra effort working with resin. |
