Donato, Such a beautiful truck build and a nice departure from race cars. Super clean build, paint is flawless, and I love the wooden look to the bed. It's not real wood, is it? If so, my apologies. I built a stock 57 ford once that was a childhood memory that I always thought about. It had fender skirts and a continental kit which is the spare tire mounted on the rear bumper. It was my friend Rusty McCattens big brother's car. He stopped by to say hello to Rusty on his way to the 1957 Southern 500. I wonder how Rusty is doing these days. Completely lost contact with him when my dad moved our family to Texas from Virginia in 1962. Hope he's doing well. |
