What year and make of car is that and is it a cup car or Busch. I have a lot of the old UMI books and might be able to find something. If it is a Busch car, probably not. |

From the headlight bucket it looks like an Olds Omega |

It's a Busch Grand National Series car. _________________ "Many men fish all their lives without knowing it is not the fish they are after." Henry David Thoreau

I believe the yellow one near the headlight is Advance Auto PDQ. |

Its not a Olds Omega, I have another photo of the front of the car and it is a Pontiac Phoenix
The Oliver and Advanced Auto decals are correct, still haven't found anything on the other 2 decals |

Might the one behind the number be a Cox Wood Preserving decal ? Rusty drove a car with them listed as the main sponsor for another race that season. |

Really hard to say, I don't recall seeing anything like that on his other cars |

I concur. Definitely not an Omega nose, and Rusty had a personal services contract with Pontiac in those days. Looks like a '77ish Ventura nose but there's not much in that photo to go on. |
