Have just recently bought a dozen T-Bird kits, one being AMT's Raybestos.
Always liked this kit but I know it's painting will be a challenge. Using TS sprays for a paint fade? Yikes.

But a new decal set, how could it be improved. Perhaps the red, yellow and white as one large decal? Along with the roof fade.

And it's rear. Just a small white/red strip, though that upper stoplight corner, would be a challenge to decal flat.

Also found this great looking #55. Jimmy Hensley from '95. Two styles of it.

These may have released these years ago. I did find (and lost) a posting for these decals. Could have been the Theresa Wulf printings.

If you find any decals, please let me know. I have that car painted but no markings.
Slixx has some number sheets with one number 5 on it, so you had to buy 2 sheets. After Petron Plus failed to pay, they ran that paint job sponsorless and with White Rose Collectibles on it. By Indy, Indy it was red, white and blue with Bondo Marhyde as a sponsor.

And this. Not an unusual scheme, Slixx has it. But it is bright and looks great.More like a drag car.

I did search again for Petron decals, nothing to see.

Which is strange, I did follow the Reddit and twitter links as before.

Those Petron cars are smart looking.

And the Raybestos car. For a door decal, the side colours could fade to clear around 'Raybestos'. Include the red/white forward striping too.

I now have this kit, it's decals are still in great condition. And have noticed that it's box art shows a blue rear end, but all white in above photo car.

I actually just saw one painted on a Facebook group called NASCAR Modeling. Would it just happen to be yours?

Not my car, but this builder has done a great job of that fade.

And just noticed that the front bumper is not horizontal to the ground. Will have to fix that when I start mine.
