Well done Dennis O! Please share some of your build details. Those old Chevelle's sure made for a great looking race car. _________________ "Many men fish all their lives without knowing it is not the fish they are after." Henry David Thoreau

The car is a 1/25 Chevelle. I used the stock frame with some adjustments like removing wheel wells and altering the ride height. I used the stock interior tub and fabricated a rear firewall from sheet plastic with a scratch built cage. PPP wheels and tires. Decals are home made using a HP printer and a "Ghost White" toner cartridge to print the white. I do these as curbside so from 5 feet away they are passable. I have done a series of models of "local heroes" from our much loved but long closed local speedway. _________________ Dennis

Good job, really like those Chevelle late models.
I’m a big believer in models from the “local” level.
I have posted 50 plus I’m sure & always have another
One in the works.
ARCA has been a great series though the years. Would always
Go to the ARCA race at Daytona during speed weeks. |
