Another Florida modified. Posted other versions of the 29,
but this one is new.....
Done from lots of leftover parts and decals.
Body, frame & engine are from an MPC
Modified.
Loosely based on this version of the 29. Driven by local favorite Rod Eulenfeld.
Never built one of those MPC modified box stock.

You've done a great job again. I really enjoy your builds. _________________ "Many men fish all their lives without knowing it is not the fish they are after." Henry David Thoreau

From your posts this must be your favorite model to work from.
Me too! I like to add add rear fender flares. Lots of other good parts in these kits. The #29 is about 50% MPC !!!

Yes sir, I like building the MPC Modified kits. They are so open to fabricating and replicating original 1:1 cars of the 60-70's. I can usually buy them relatively cheap when on sale at Hobby Lobby or other sources. I've posted most all of my modified builds here on the forum. Two 36 Chevys, two 34 Fords, two Vegas and three Ridge Runner Pintos. And have three or four more in my stash. And I've enjoyed all of your builds as well. Model on Bro! |

Usually only around $15 when on sale at Hobby lobby.
My daughter just asked me last night didn’t I need to go to Hobby Lobby. One of her favorite stores also.
I think the 29 is really a 37 Ford. Those are getting expensive on eBay. The MPC 36 Chevy is close enough. Those model years looked so similar anyway. |
