Bought the AMT 69 Galaxie Hardtop kit with the intention of building a stockcar out of it. Anyone have photos? I've Google and Pinterest searched. There's 68 Galaxies everywhere but no luck finding a 69 |

Don't think it ran in NASCAR Cup series. They gone to the smaller Torino by then. Maybe a ARCA or USAC racer......or just build a fantasy car. |

Thanks DaveVan. I've ordered a set of Cecil Gordon decals as he ran a 68 Galaxie into the 70's. It will be a fantasy build, but I'm not really a replica builder. My builds represent the Era more then anything. I'm having a blast, so that's all that matters as far as I'm concerned |

I recall a Grand National West Series driver running a 1968 or '69 Ford full - sized car. Give me a day or so to find a picture... |
