I have couple of Action Racing die cast COT cars I want to strip and repaint. What are some easy ways to remove the paint? I could use my blast cabinet, too harsh?

I agree with DaveVan!

I have used both Aircraft Remover and Citristrip and prefer Citristrip.

Aircraft Remover seems to have update its formula recently and doesn't work as good for me.

Citristrip is also a lot safer and can be done indoors.

PTI brand aircraft stripper. Sort of a gel. Heavy duty stuff but really works. Fast and thorough, cuts through multiple layers in one application. I buy it at an aviation material store at a small regional airport.

Need proper gloves and eye protection. Use it outdoors to be safe, try to stay upwind of the work. I don't always have time to dance around with the safer strippers that take longer to work and often require a second application.

Got it stripped. First try with Citristrip, nothing, just laughed at the stripper. Cleaned it off and into the blast cabinet. Wow, tough paint, basically all I got off was the print/markings and just roughed up the paint. Then tried the stripper, peeled it right off. Had to break the gaze on the surface first.
