I've had good luck and never have had to coat any decal sheets but I recently had a sheet that shattered when they hit the water. I'm looking for tips on coating my sheets to prevent this. Should I use clear or future? Does it make the decals difficult to remove from the backing? Any other tips on the subject would be appreciated. Thanks |

I have always used Testors clear with no problem. A couple of thin coats does the trick and I don't have any issues getting the decal off the paper. Obviously you have to trim very close to the image. |

I have had good luck with shooting it with Tamiya clear. 2-3. Light coats
But I’ve had some sets that are just crap and break apart despite clear coats or microscale. |
