I finished this a month or so ago and it was suggested that I post it here for you to see . The last NASCAR kit I built was back in the early 70's when I built some of the MPC kits so this was basically all new to me .
I hinged the hood and trunk and added a bunch of details to the engine and interior , most of which will never be seen again so I added a few extra photos at the end of this post . Paint is Tamiya TS-23 Light Blue cleared with TS-13 . Overall a really nice kit , too bad it was such a limited run .
If you're interested in some "in progress" photos you can see them here :

I do have a couple of the Salvinos JR Charger kits so another build is in my future .
All comments are welcome , thanks for looking !

Again, Excellent build Bob. Everything is top notch about this build. The extra detailing, the paint, the decal work, the overall cleanliness of the build all come together to make this one something really special. You should be really proud of this one. Thanks for sharing it with us. |

Thank you pulln4dejr !
For the seat I made a separate insert and covered it with a decal I printed of the Houndstooth pattern that Petty used . |

I'm not sure any build is ever "perfect", but this Plymouth will certainly do til one comes along. Outstanding in every respect and thanks for the work in progress link.

Wonderful build. The 'aerial' shots look like a 1:1 car. The houndstooth seat nails it. Thanks so much for posting this. |
