Anyone have a suggestion for the red or orange or whatever the color is for a Foyt #14 Copenhagen Olds? Something in a Taimya spray possibly that matches the roof decal.

Are you talking about this Foyt OLDS??? I used regular Tamiya orange spray. FYI I did use 3 different decal sheets. Thx

So i did a spoon test with Tamiya bright orange, orange and pure orange. The bright orange seems to match the roof decal color the best.

There are two different sets that Mike did of that decal sheet. The first is the bright orange which is incorrect. The second was the actual poppy red which is correct.

Well, it seems i have the bright orange version, so that’s what i will have to go with. May try it over red primer and see if it is better.

Did the bright orange over red primer, not an exact match for the version of the roof decal i have but i would imagine that it’s closer to the real paint. Gonna go with that and see how it looks.
