I found a few of these little coupes in a local store a while back. I thought they were kind of cool so I found some decals on an auction site and the conversion was on! Just for fun.

Nice Build Ron! I've always found it enjoyable to fool around with smaller scale diecast. There's a lot of interesting stuff out there if you know where to look.
My current project though is an American Muscle 1/24th scale diecast kit I found at WalMart years ago. It's already set-up as a NASCAR race car so I don't need to convert from a street version. It will end up as one of the '81/'82 Buicks driven by Darrell Waltrip.
I initially started dabbling in the smaller diecast vehicles (1/64th and 1/87th) to create vehicles for model railroading many moons ago.
You haven't lived until you've lopped the fenders off of a 1/87th scale Ford F-800 Series truck from the 1980's because they were too wide, then after shaving them down to something closer to scale, re-attaching them and making the seam disappear after airbrushing on your favorite railroad color!
My wife wonders why I'm going blind!
Anyway, great job. Going to have to find me one of those!

Found one of these a few years ago, don't remember the number, but is painted yellow. Never saw other paint/number schemnes....
Question: What do you use to put these back together? _________________ Ed. K |

I like to use 5 min. epoxy, sometimes JB Weld. |
