Hello, for anyone who has built a Pet Dairy Buick or Pontiac, what blue did you use? I'm trying to find a suitable blue, preferably in a spray can.
Thanks for any help.
Brian

I built a Pet Dairy Buick years ago. Pretty sure that I used Testors "Model Master" french blue. Don't know if it was 100% correct or not. It was close enough for me.

Hi Brian. I used 1108 Testors Blue on mine. And 1204 Testors red for stripes. Just testors white for the front of car.

I built mine out of the petty combo kit. And I never painted the blue at all.

I have this build in progress and I tried using Testors bright blue but I'm having trouble getting it to lay down uniformly. Seems like Testors paint has really gone downhill, I know it wasn't the best paint before but now it's just unusable.

I've had that experience too. Some cans are great, some aren't. Other than Hobby Lobby, there are no hobby shops with in 100 miles from me. Closest H/L is over 40 miles away. No one in my area sells Tamiya paints. I have had great luck using Krylon and Rust-Oleum paint shot over primer.
