Replicated the Don Gregory short tracker from 1973 season. Used the GTO super stocker chassis, with AMT camaro body, decals supplied from several sources. This was an MPC kit years ago which fetches big money now, but with aftermarket stuff it's easy to do now for cheap!

Great Build I can remember the car at the tracks we were going to back n the day man I wish I would of taken a camera and learned how to use it properly.

That is so cool! I've been wanting to do the same trick using available kits to do the Dick Trickle Mustang one of these days.
For fun, here's the MPC Super Stocker kit I built as a kid in the 1970s. I remember very clearly that I didn't have any purple paint, so I brush painted it in Testor's light blue. Later I got bored and decided to repaint the hood, adding some hand-painted dark blue flames...
