Today i got 2 flat hood Chargers from Mike’s. Opened them up just to look and the Allison kit had a 2+2 “corrected” (i assume, because it fits the kit body) rear bumper on the tree with the flat hood. The Baker one didn’t have it, the spot was there but it was empty.

Bonus for me, too bad there wasn’t one in the Baker kit, i have 2 of the 2+2s to build. Laughing

That's Salvino's way of giving all of us not in the builder's club a giant middle finger. Tool up a corrected part, add it to a "new" Dodge kit for the builders, then remove it from the tooling for kits going out in general release. Nice. Nice.

I juat opened up my Bobby Allison Charger kit. Your right there it is. Welp I guess it gets tossed into the spare parts box

Or… you could drop it in the mail to me👍🏻 i do need another one for my Bonnett build. If you could do that please drop me a PM and we can talk terms.


Now i wish i woulda ordered 2 Allison Chargers instead of one and a Baker.

Do we think all of the Allison Charger kits have this piece, or just the early/buyer’s club kits? If it’s all, I’ll grab one. I have a 2+2 kit. Thanks

Not sure, but it was on the tree with the hood. Only in the Allison version, not the Baker one - just to be clear.

Understood. Thank you. Based on Gary’s response above, it reads like they only went out in the club kits. That’s why I’m asking. I would be purchasing a non-club kit.

Mine came from a non club kit. I indicated in the OP that i got both kits from Mike’s. Dunno where Gary came up with the club kit thing.

It was widely discussed in several Facebook groups. They did not include that bumper in all kits.

I bought one of the Allison kits from Warren's Hobbies on eBay and the 2+2 bumper wasn't there.
