This is the 6th Next Gen kit I've built overall but the first I feel good enough about to post. Ross Chastain in the Dale Jr Coke throwback ran at Darlington in the spring. Decals are Powerslide. The nice part about a black car is it eliminates the side skirt and front splitter decals that can be a pain to line up correctly. I made a dash panel out of thin styrene. Took some trial and error and I'm still tweaking it from kit to kit. I hope Salvino's comes up with a piece for the kit; it looks so much better than the exposed dash.

Lovely work. Black can be a real pain to get right, and this looks just gorgeous even in that unforgiving light. |
