If you have a local hobby shop that isn’t a big box store and they stock the kits, i would suggest buying from them. I pay a few dollars more at my LHS than i would from Mike’s, not factoring in shipping, and I don’t mind at all if it helps keep the lights on and the doors open.

| I agree with what 18degrees said, I just wish I had a hobby shop to go to. I am about an hour away from the closest one and 80 percent of their stuff is RC items. So by all means, support local shops, while we still can. But if you need to mail order, Mike is a great guy to deal with. |

| Thanks guys. I have done business with Mike many moons ago and will probably stick with him. I hear there is a Chastain first cup win car that is supposed to be offered in August. Anybody have any info on this kit? |

You can see the box art on the Salvinos JR website. Looks pretty slick. Doesn't have much other information but my guess is body will be black.
It feels so weird seeing all these kits pop up with schemes I'd want to buy! I love Salvinos JR for this. The other companies would release one or two basic kits and then let the decal makers have a field day. This is nice because I can get a lot of kits and actually use the kit decals! |

| Well, the middle of august is gone and no #1 nextgen kit available yet. I went to Chastain's merchandise site, and they are saying this item will not be shipped any later then 9/30/2022. So, looks like another month to wait. It's also 10 dollars more than the rest of the kits. |

Sounds good if its the "week", but not the "or so". Molded in black. I might just try clearing it and polishing it. I wonder if the decal sheet has the weird looking camo for the nose and fenders and elsewhere. |

You could probably use a small pecan. Shape it a little and paint it green. I'm definitely going to have a scratch built one for the roof of the car but not glued in place. |

| Finally got my kits from Mike. Excellent service as usual. Just looking through the kit it looks like high-quality kits they have put together, and of course the Powerslide decals are a real bonus. Looking forward to getting started. With my snail's pace, I will be lucky to finish both in about a year from now. |
