Looking for the investigators to provide information about the Ford Junior Johnson / Banjo Matthews started racing about a third into the 64 season.
Was the car built by Holman & Moody like a lot (if not all) of these Fords?
Anything about the construction of that car unique or just a typical H&M?
I could find very little in terms of pictures or video, a few shots from Darlington that's about it. Please post any pictures you may have.
Thanks!

For interior photos search for photos of the Fireball Roberts '63 Galaxie that was in the Weatherly Museum for years and is now in Lee Holman's possession because it's the same car. When Ford needed a tribute to Roberts to donate to the Weatherly Museum in '65 they asked Holman-Moody for one. They had the ex-Banjo/JJ car still out back in the junkyard after it had been wrecked in the '64 Southern 500 and backdated it to a '63 when it was fixed up for museum duty. The biggest difference between it and the rest of the factory '64 Galaxies was that Banjo built his own instrument panel cluster for it rather than using one of the H-M cast aluminum ones.

That same car was originally the Foyt #00 from the Daytona 500, it was built after Foyt wrecked the yellow #00 at Riverside.
