Question for Johan experts. I recently bought a built 1963 Fury to use for a nascar build. I stripped it and the plastic is dark green. I have had a dozen or so Johan kits, but never seen one this color. How old is this? It had plastic axles, but incorrect wheels and engine. |

Toward the end of original Jo-Han they ran any kit that they could in any color of plastic they found. I have a number of end of Jo0Han kits in the awful green!! So YES, you have a near the end Jo-Han! |

Yeah, I have a late-run Superbird in Forest Green! Seems brittle as well. |

Johan would use any plastic they could get their hands on! I'm a Richard Petty superfan. As such I've got the 64 Belvedere in blue, gray, white, green, orange and red plastic |

Thanks for the responses.
I noticed that the plastic had crazed in several places after stripping it with purple power. The previous builder did not send or prime the body. Guess I will be priming and blocking |
