This is the Salvinos JR Tim Richmond Lemans kit. I used MCW 2056 Red for the color. The headers and wheels are from Jim Rogers. I painted the wheels with Green Stuff World Chrome Metal (over a black base).
I modified the window openings by essentially shifting them down about 1 mm. There are in progress photos in the link that show what I did. I also trimmed about 1mm off the rear bumper. I added the fuel overflow tube and used heat shrink for the roll bar padding.

You said the wheels and headers are from Jim Rogers, as in the JR of JR Salvinos? I have seen the modern seat, figure, and older style resin seat on the site.
Where can i access/order other stuff from Jim Rogers? _________________ ON DECK/IN THE WORKS: too many started to list...

Awesome build!
What paints did you use on the engine valve covers, air cleaner, etc.?
Thanks! |

I use that quite a bit, and that looks just a hair darker and flat. Any special treatment? It really turned out well. |

Nothing special, just straight out of the can. |

Very nice build! Those Lemans kits can be finicky but turn out to look good with a little TLC. Well done. _________________ |
