I checked out the new MCw paint suppliers site and everything seems reliant on knowing the paint code, I remember they had a section on Nascar with paint numbers as well as application eg..#2014 neon orange 17 Tide.

or # 1111 black 3,2,etc.
My question is did anyone scan that page? would love to match paint to car number, year and sponsor again.

Thanks for your time
Ron

Hi Taz, they should have a "racing colors reference" chart that you can download. It has all that info on it.

You won't be disappointed in their paints. I've been using them since the early 2000s.

I would suggest using a lacquer primer though.

Agree with lefty as well. Just started using these....great paints. I've used Tamiya primer with great results and I also purchased some of MCW's primer to try as well. Good luck!

they do sell rattlecans, that's all i have from them. IIRC the rattle can numbers are different that the airbrush ones, there is a conversion...

Just an FYI, if you are new to airbrushing, their paints are VERY easy to use, pre-thinned perfectly. I airbrush pretty infrequently and these paints help me get going again easily.

I airbrush everything and these paints are "pour and spray". The jars come with a BB in the bottom to help mix paint as they do separate while not being used. Make sure you shake until you can see the paint line on bottom of jar when tipped 90 degrees.

These paints are made for airbrushing, not bristle brush. You can do paint touch up on minor imperfections and roll cage joints but not large area painting.

Good Luck!
