Another oddball one-off. Perry Cottingham raced out west and drove Buicks. He had a Buick Skylark for a couple of years and raced this Buick for a short time. Tim Stevens found one picture of the car and no details. So I decided to duplicate it as best as I could. According to some research, he ran Kenne-Bell Buick engines for awhile but not much is known about the car. That made it interesting, because some poetic license could be applied to the build. My own 73 Gran Sport body with modified nose. Coors T-Bird chassis stretched to fit. Monogram Buick GSX 455 engine with scratch built dry sump and plumbing. Seat modified to look like earlier cars. Scratch built dash. Acetate windows, PPP wheels and Monogram tires. Home printed decals.
