Would it be advisable to use a clear coat over vinyl decals? I'm building a particular car, and need some white lettering done. A friend of mine has a vinyl decal cutter machine and has offered to print the lettering for me. I've never used vinyl decals before on a model, just on 1:1 cars and, yes, burial vaults. Would a light coat of clear be ok, or would it damage the vinyl? _________________ Eat. Sleep. Do Creepy Mortician Stuff... |

I've cleared over the 1/32 Monogram paper stickers before and they've held up as slot car MC bodies. I'd just be very careful to apply it (the vinyl) once and get it right the first time.
I misted Tamiya clear a few times before a wet coat |
