Whats the best kind of surface for optimal adhesion? Painted? Lacquer? Acrylic?
Thanks in advance.

I personally have never had an adhesion problem on any dry, clean surface. I've used it on flat black paint and it stuck nicely. Glossy is absolutely no issue for what I have done.

anything that drys hard seems better to me . enamel or ratlle cans that dont seem to ever dry are the worst. Make sure it is clean as a whistle with no petroleum distilates of any kind left on the surface. I would clean with dawn dishwashing detergent and rinse with distilled water.
