Anybody know what "Hodgdon" is or was?? seems to be on many cars from this era

Thanks for the link; interesting reading. In addition to his sponsorship of Neil Bonnett, Warner Hodgdon also bought controlling interest in several race tracks, including Rockingham. As well, Hodgdon would sponsor the June, 1981 Cup & Southwest Tour races at Riverside Raceway.
