For what it's worth, JR said on facebook today that the 73 Dodge Charger maybe available as early as Feb and a 71 to follow later. Mentioned at least once Richard Petty no word on others. Also stated that the Modified could be ready as soon as next summer. He also hinted at a Gen 6, but I didn't stick around for the whole show so I have no details about that one. Given the recent history Petty would probably be a good guess.

Are they going to use the same tool (s) as the older MPC kit (s) ?

That has accurate main body lines that will be good to start from to make it replicate a stocker with out too much trouble.

No model kit is perfect. But it seems to me everyone can do it better. So put up your money and do it yourself or keep mouth shut. Be grateful that we have them.

The 'put up or shut up' argument holds no water here.....

Salvinos was offered free help on a number of projects....and at first they said the same thing 'start your own model company'. I doubt Salvinos really meant that.....deviding up the already small marjet between more manufactures does no one good.
Monogram, for the CUP kits, asked for and got help from MANY people outside the company. I think they did OK. This hobby is so small it needs the 'community' to make a good product. None of us that post here have the cash or desire to own a model manufacturing company......but most of us do WANT to buy and build really well done kits......and we vote with our cash.

Do not, repeat, DO NOT tell people to shut up on this forum. Ever.

We try our best to have open, honest discussion, and also try to not allow outright bashing of anyone or any vendor. Pointing out flaws in a kit and offering ways to fix it is not against the rules here.
