Here are details for a contest on a couple other forums. Come over and join in on the fun.


The Racecar Contest is a go!!!!!!! Here are the rules and info.

Build a 1/24-1/25 scale racecar of any deceased or retired driver. Open to all forms of racing - NASCAR, Dirt Track, Indy, F1, Rally, IMSA, Off-Road, NHRA, IHRA or any local driver from your hometown. You must provide a picture of the 1:1 car you plan to build. Must be a new build. No projects that you have started.

Contest is open to all Scale Racing Lobby(SRL) and The Mad Modeller(TMM)members.

Anything goes for this build. Any aftermarket parts, decals or scratchbuilding allowed.

Contest starts August 1, 2007 and ends Janurary 1, 2008. At the end all finished builds will be posted and voting will begin. Total votes from SRL and TMM will determine the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.

Prizes will be announced at a later date.
