You'll need a hosting site. Most guys go for the freebies. Just google "free photo hosting" and you should get a pretty diverse list. I use postimage. It will give you several different options when posting, the most popular being "Hotlink for websites". Cheers.

Adam is right. postimage is pretty good, and easy to use. But lately they are pushing you to subscribe. i hope they dont do what photobucket did. Imgur is also free but not quite as user freindly in my humble opinion.

Once you've uploaded your photos it will offer you options on how to display your photo. Find the "Hotlink" or "Thumbnail" button and click on it. Then come here and right click, paste, on the article you wish to add the photo to.

Most people upload them into their own threads unless requested by someone else.

Its just a copy and paste deal. Just get post image downloaded and start playing with it. if you have your photos in a picture file on your computer its pretty straight forward . If not just search for a you tube video . I'm sure somebody has done one on this subject.

I'm new to the photo posting too. I signed up for Post image and was able to post a coupe of pics to the site. However, when I clicked on the image, it went to my Post Image account. I am logged out, however, when I clicked on images in other posts I was not directed to the host's picture sharing site.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,

PM99

It does the same thing to me. I figure if it posts my picture, i'm good and I don't need to click on my photo anymore. As long as it stays free , i'm happy.
