I guess being stuck at home has some advantages. I actually had time to build this and finish some other models I started oven a year ago. First off let me apologize for the pictures, a photographer I am not.. LOL. These are cell phone pics. They are a little dark. I wanted to take some outdoor pics, but it rained here most of the day today.
Basically a box stock Salvino Jr 2+2 kit with my decals. My decals will do a few different versions of the car. Lowered the stance, added roll bar padding, Monogram T-Bird 5 hole wheels and aluminum tubing for exhaust. Paint is Tamiya TS-93 Pure Blue and TS-26 Pure White. All of the blue is paint. Far from my best work, but it'll do and look fine in the case.
Again, sorry for the picture quality.

Very Nice build. The Mueller Bros. race team out of Wisconsin always built good looking cars, for Jim and for Dean Roper ( the Mile Master ) before Jim. I remember Jim & the Mueller Bros. showing up for the 1st Cup Race @ Phoenix in Nov., 1988. Because they were not a regular Cup team, they had to work on their new 1988 - bodied Pontiac along the fence in the corner of the garage area, not under cover like the regular cup teams. Not to Worry - as Jim would qualify the car FIFTH FASTEST , ahead of eventual top 4 finishers Kulwicki, Labonte, Allison, & Elliott, as well as the Waltrip Bros., and several guys named Dale. It was all for little however, as engine problems would relegate Jim Sauter to a 32nd place finish. |

I noticed after I took those pictures that I didn't have the rear of the body clipped down all of the way. It looks much better with the rear lowered now. I'll try to get some updated and better quality pictures posted at some point. |

Very tidy looking build.
Near and dear to a man who's classic '79 Glastron Carlson CVZ19 is pushed across the lake by a lusty, thrusty and trusty Evinrude 150.
As for pics, if your camera has a setting for 'auto ISO' try using it. It will automatically set the exposure index to match whatever shutter speed and aperture you have set your camera to. That said, you shouldn't need a shutter speed above 1/250th of a second for these sort of shots. Even less if you have the camera on a tripod or set securely upon a stationary surface. |

Do not remember that car but, it's beautiful! You have certainly done it justice with this build. _________________ "Dude, it's not Camelot... it's only a model." "Details man, I need details!!" |

I took these with a cell phone so not a lot of wiggle room on adjustments. I dug out an old digital camera and will give that a shot on this one, and future builds. Hopefully with better results.
