|
|
Latest "on the bench" completion.....58 Ford driven by Fairgrounds Speedway driver Jimmy Griggs, owned by R.C. Alexander, Mike Alexander's father. Body is a resin, with Tamiya paint, PPP tires, Ron Coons wheels and decals by Greg Holland. Trailer is scratch built with 3D printed axles, springs and hubs, the runners are photo etched deck plate from Hiroboy…...thanks for looking

Nice work! I love old short track cars. My favorite build was stolen at a show and I need to build another. |

Yes.....glass was just molded thin sheet probably .015 thick, bumpers were molded in body color not chrome |

Fantastic, short track cars prior to 1976 are my favorite. This model is one of the best example's I have ever seen it is a perfect example of late 50s early to mid 60s Absolutely a perfect model great model.... |

The number 84 was always a threat at the Fairgrounds. DW and Mike Alexander were just a couple of hot shoes that drove a hotrod numbered 84. Your build is spot on perfect. You really nailed it. You should be proud. _________________ life is hard, it's harder when you're stupid. John Wayne |
