A video on their Facebook page posted yesterday states the following tentative release dates for re-bodies of the Monogram 1/24 GM tools:
Flat nose Monte Carlo- Feb/Mar
Pontiac 2+2 - April
Pontiac Lemans - “before summer”
Looking good! |

Many Moons Ago -- someone ( JNJ ??? ) made a resin flat - nose 1981 Monte Carlo nose piece. The one I have was kinda rough, with air bubbles, a non - filled lower corner, and overall a bit too small for the Monogram body. I only used the top and upper front, down to the bottom of the headlight buckets. I used a Monogram 1981 Buick Regal front bumper, straightened out a bit and filed down on the ends and bottom roll - under. Lotsa plastic bits and Squadron Green too. It came out fairly well, and currently is a W.I.P. for a 1982 DiGard / Bobby Allison Gatorade MC flat - nose, as raced at Riverside in June, 1982. |
