The only pic I've seen of it (starting line at Talladega?) it has red wheels with the last couple of inches out to the bead painted silver. They're much like Cotton Owens often did the wheels on his cars ( Charger Daytona, "71 Plymouth) . Kind of a painted "trim ring.
I googled "Wendell Scott kmart charger" and there is a color pic of him leaning against it that show the wheels.
The body color appears to be a silver of some flavor.

I looked it up as well. It appears to be a silver metallic with just a hint of blue to it. Much like my Focus to be honest.

Keep in mind the photo is in natural sunlight and from 1973. Looks to have been Kodak film so this is likely the most accurate look at the color you'll get until more photos show up.

By the way, not for nothin but...

Those are tough. Not much to see but, I'd say a darker, possibly blood red.

I've been back and forth through my own archives and some racing sites, surprisingly that's all I could find. Those wheels MIGHT also be a copper color, which Dodge has been prone to use. I would suggest maybe some Wendell Scott fan sites or facebook pages, might be more helpful.

The car belonged to Doc Faustina so that may be another angle to research it.

I think Faustina raced the car in a sort of plum color not too far removed from Chevy Madeira Maroon when it still had the '70 Roadrunner body on it. I looked for a photo but I couldn't find it so I'm going from memory, but I suspect the wheels match that color.
