I bought 4 of these back when they were issued but never built one. I need to pick your memory. My questions are....
1. The seat seems about the right size for a 12 year old girl???
2. Which from bumper/grill worked better, the chrome one or the white plastic?
3. Wheels/tires....any advice? Kit ones ok? Look a bit small....
4. Anyone try putting an AMT NASCAR chassis under this?
5. The front fender tire cutouts did not get any smaller while it aged in the box.
Any general gotcha's to watch out for... _________________ Dennis

I used it as is.......a Monogram or MPC might be better if you have one.
2. Which from bumper/grill worked better, the chrome one or the white plastic?
Both are about the same....both need care in getting it aligned well.
3. Wheels/tires....any advice? Kit ones ok? Look a bit small....
I used the box stock....but PPP would be better
4. Anyone try putting an AMT NASCAR chassis under this?
Never tried that.....I cut the inner front fenders off the chassis and add a few roll bars.....happy simple build.
5. The front fender tire cutouts did not get any smaller while it aged in the box.
Pretty sure someone here did a how to make them better.
My box stock with Allison decals

Tom M. did the tutorial on re-working the wheelwells. Maybe he could re-post it for us? I believe it was a sticky before the crash.
