Mpc laguna with an amt tbird chassis. Powerslide decals with mcw paint for the holly farms colors. Post race look. All cont sponsors are correct for the 500 spec car. Wheels and tires were also the amt tbird kit.

Another off the charts perfect build, Jose. Best Laguna I've seen. I owned a 76 Laguna S-3 back in the day. It had a 350 2 barrel carb engine. Talk about an over weight slug of a car. One of the worst cars I ever owned.

Some year ago I contacted the guy at MCW about the very colors for this car. The listed colors then were Italian red, grabber orange, and white. Lately I've been using Tamaya paints, they have an Italian red and of course white just not sure about the orange. I did one of Cale's Oldsmobile's and used white, camel yellow was suggest as the other color bot I used McLaren orange which worked out well. I was just wondering what orange to use, McLaren looks to light, maybe bright orange will work. Again, beautiful model as always your paint is perfect.

Bright orange wouldent work at all. Thats more like the home depot #20 cars. The holly farms cars had a brown to the orange. I honestly dont think the mclaren orange is too off. Maybe just not brown enough?

Just make sure it has the 400 4 barrel carb version. But I heard those engines had problems with the head gaskets. You're right though, it was a good looking car. I ordered mine without the stripes. To me they looked gaudy.

Stay away from the 400 Small - Block; it had cooling problems galore. The two center cylinders were siamesed, with no water jacket between them. Head gaskets were the easy problem to fix; cracked blocks & seized pistons were more problematic.

Thanks , George I knew there was something wrong with the 400. Just couldn't remember exactly what it was .
