I have seen pictures of the Wrangler AeroCoupe with Blue chassis/rollbars and pictures of it being Grey. Does anybody really know when they changed colors inside? Was it Blue in 1986 and Grey in 1987 or just changed mid way thru a specific year? When you do search, the one in the RCR Museum appears to be Grey. |

I can’t answer your specific questions, but all the pics of the actual car on the track, they all appear to have the blue interior.
As for the museum car... you can’t always trust restorations. The Mark Martin Stroh’s tbird at his museum (or Roush’s, not sure just seen pics) has yellow “Goodyear #1” lettering on the tires. That’s about 4-5 years too early. _________________ ON DECK/IN THE WORKS: too many started to list...

Roush had a Martin Stroh '88 Ford that had a 89 body A pillar back......I know that resto is wrong.
I'd say all #3 I saw at track were blue. |

84 and some of 85 had grey chassis most of 86-87 were blue. In late 87 some were red/ orange. I havent seen an aerocoupe with a grey one. But theres always one that got past my research |

Thanks guys. I thought it was Blue but then kept seeing the Grey Chassis picture from the RCR Museum. All the old race footage appeared to Blue |
