Hey guys, I'm just getting back into building models after being out of it for 8-10 yrs. I found a lot of sprint car decals of current day drivers and would really love to build those sprint cars but was wondering if anyone knew where to get updated sprint cars without having to buy what looks like Joey Saldana kits to be accurate. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The Joey Saldana kit is the most recent update I've seen around. I emailed Revell to tell them they need to come out with other drivers and I'd buy every one of them.
This website has some aftermarket parts that may help you update the older kits. http://www.bigdonkeyresin.com/

Another option would be SWS Chassis. Justin makes body panels and chassis that seem to be pretty accurate.

And Dirt Modeler has some really nice aftermarket stuff too, rock guards, inner wheels, etc. if he ever answers your email. I placed an order a while back, got the automated response, and then... nothin. Filed a paypal claim to get my money back. But man, is his stuff nice.

18 degrees thanks for the info. I knew SWS chassis was out there but thought he was still shutdown. Thanks for the heads up, his sprint car items look great.

if you really want to go crazy with the detail stuff, like Clay Kemp, check out

www.rbmotion.com

tons of small detail stuff that would make a build stand out. hell, they have 1/24 spark plugs and angled plug boots...
