Nice "slump-breaker"! I'm trying to get away from the "IPMS" mentality with each build, get back to out-of-the-box mode.

Jim N...

The colors are how the kit came. molded in purple/white/black.

However the steering wheel, tires/wheels came from the "sister" kit, the '63 Stingray...

Don't think I mentioned what I used for what little "painting" I did...

Silver and various black highlights are from silver & black Shaprie pens...
The white for the sunvisors is.... would you believe....
Bic Wite-Out Quick Dry Correction Fluid.....

Thanks for the comments Jim and John...

unfortunately, have not started another kit....yet...mainly I'm need of certain supplies..
mostly acrylic paints....
And due to my living situation, will be brush paint future builds.....
Do not have a Hobby shop anywhere close to me, and my nearest HL does not have the Tamiya or Testors acrylics I'm looking for....
and the biggest problem is the lack of $$ to get what I want and when I want...

Nice build and good way to get back to it. If you can try rattle cans
instead of brush. I brush painted way back in 60s to early 70s. Quit
modeling for years than got back in late 80s. I discovered Tamiya
lacquer spray, fast drying but smelly. No interest or $$$ for air brush.
You'll get there, keep it up.---John
