John.....
Have really never timed myself, but I would say that by working on it after work for a couple of hours or so during the evening, maybe some time on the weekends, depending on what ever else I got involved with (had a significant other back when this was done) would take me somewhere between a week to a couple of weeks....This one could have taken longer as I had trouble coming up with the words on the bottom that I liked...This is the result of that....The REAL finger tip "killer" was putting in the "fireworks" especially the centers of each "burst" as working with metallic cord, especially making a cross stitch ("X") is hard on the fingers in trying to get the needle through the same hole 4 times...

Have not done a race car for the last few years.....Don't think I've done one since moving back to Iowa in 2014.....started to design a couple of short track cars, but when the computer died, that was the end of that......just have not gotten around to trying it on graph paper again, which is how I Started designing these.....And the "new" computer is now a Linux operating system, the program used to really design thise much faster is a Windows only program....Just don't have the funding for another computer.....

Back when I could use the computer program to make my own designs or modify other designs, I found it was more fun to create the "drawing" than it was to actually stitch it up...
Confused
