The following were built in the 70's and somehow survived 17 different moves...including 3 cross country moves from CA to FL to NM and back to IA

And a couple that survived the first big move from IA to CA in 1972

Why did a race Fairlane get posted here with a '71 Road Runner? Both were built around the same time, and from the same rattle can of AMT paint. Also these were the 1st 2 ever painted while building them....In part due to waiting for the tow kits to make the following build and also my 1st kit bash, while building it, and not a redo of an old build:

The above a combination of a Edmunds supermod kit and the Orange Crate kit

Lucky to have them still intact. I had that Corvette model, too. It's long gone, but the wheels are in my junk box!

This was one of the 1st built in CA in 1972...

OUt of the box build, except for the intake manifold and velocity stacks, which came a few years later,,,
Also around the time this was built, built the AMT Double Dragster.
The Fiat coupe did not last very long....though the streamlined rail lasted for a few years. Don't remember when that one was tossed......but was during one of my moves...

Great builds Ed. Survivors are a good thing, and some can even be rebuilt.

Thanks for the compliment!

But don't plan on redoing any of these.....to me, these are part of my building history...

Old Coyote...

Not that I have not rebuilt, to a degree some of my builds check out the post "From This..."
in the Showroom section, currently on page 2..
And yes that Torino is still around somewhere....
Created the Late Model version in the '70's some time, after scrapping the AMT '65(?) Malibu Modified Stocker...that's where the wheels and tires came from....

Nice looking group of models.

None of the models I built before I got married in 1986 survived. It makes me sad when I think of it because I had some that I really liked.
