Yep, you don't see one of those every day! Beautiful job. Captures the look just right.

Talk about your obscure builds. Now that is just too cool. Nice build, I'd say you nailed it. _________________ life is hard, it's harder when you're stupid. John Wayne |

Very nicely done!!
not a body style seen too often as a race car......
Pit crewed on a Figure 8 car for a year and a half, 1976-1977....and the owner/drive used this style of Riviera...... _________________ Ed. K |

Wow that looks Great Slim I hope the decals where easy for you to use. I, like you, love these types of builds. I did these decals mostly so I could do the car myself but I decided to list them as well and to my great surprise they are selling very well all over the country and the world I sold some to customers in England, Germany and Australia. To say I am shocked is an understatement..... |

Not the only Riviera on a short track!!!!
This Buick Riviera with driver Jimmy Capps ran on the Jacksonville Speedway clay 1/2 mile track
in 1969. I got a close up look at this sportman and as I recall if was very well built, equal to Grand
National construction of the day...
Capps also raced in the Daytona 500 on a few occasions. But added his middle name and raced as
"Jimmy Lee Capps" while running NASCAR...
SlotCarFever are you looking?? I would make this my next project if I had the decals...
