Not perfect in any way and I just noticed that the gold decal flaked off near the rear wheel, grrr!

I started this years back and had some problem with it. I cannot recall what was wrong. It sat around and got buried in a pile of stuff in the spare bedroom and I ran across it a few days ago and decided to finish it.

The chassis has been done for at least 3 years, the body was half decaled and a few parts were scattered about.
Wheel wells modded in front and an 86 air dam, removed some of the character lines above the rockers. Paint is Tamiya Italian red and pure white. Decals are Powerslide, very nice decals!

Where did you get the 1986 Thunderbird nose? I'm getting ready to start building Elliott's 1985 and 1986 cars. There is not much to differentiate the two but the nose and rear quarter windows. I'd love for mine to look as good as yours!

Very nice! Saw this car run at Talledega in '86...it's one of my top 2 race cars of all-time with Davey's black/white/red T-bird being the other!

What kit did you use and did you do any kit bashing??

Some years back there was someone making the 86 T'Bird nose, haven't seen any avaialble lately though. Maybe chack on eBay or ask in the Trading Post on this forun if anyone has a nose to sell.
Thank you for the kind words also!
