A friend who was clearing out his stash gave me a water-damaged #31 Lowe's Monte Carlo kit last month. I decided on a different livery. I realize I'm only about the 17,670,002nd person to build this car, but it's mine. A few modifications, but most of it's kit parts. Decals by Powerslide, except for the TV panel logo, which I had to swipe from the big Wetworks sheet.
There are flaws and compromises in the finished model, mainly because of some discrepancies I caught too late in the process, but it does have the virtue of that word "finished," so I got that goin' for me. Which is nice. Anyway, enjoy.

I had a hard time figuring out which car I wanted to build from the kit, since there's not a lot from the late '90s that really grabs me. But I went with this one and it turned out to be a fun project. And no collection really is complete without one. Thanks for the kind words!

Looks great even if you were the 17,670,002nd person to build this one. |

Thank you all for the kind words. It's funny - I was pretty critical of it when it was done, but after a few days I got to thinking "you know, this little car don't look half bad." Funny how that works.
Thank you again.

Half bad? That's a sweet build! Especially considering it's a "Rescue". Everybody needs a Petty, Earnhardt and Gordon car. That's one great looking build. _________________ life is hard, it's harder when you're stupid. John Wayne |
