I'm afraid to ask but I can't help myself.... can you explain exactly what you are talkin about? And by the way, Concord Speedway is,um, in Concord, North Carolina. Spent many a Saturday night helping friends run there with a variety of different series of cars and even gassed a car in an a ASA race there many moons ago, I never knew they race model cars there. LOL!

You build a model with a non real driver and team. Post pictures to the league. Razerbackback makes up a ficticious play by play. I have no idea how he decides who finishes where, probably drawing the names out of a hat.

Some of us get creative and post comments about the race.

Yeah I went and looked at some of the older posts, sounds like fun and a good way to display some fantasy cars. Maybe I'll even jump in. But I don't think gambling on the outcome is a good idea. LOL!

Yeah, I checked the track's official address and it says Concord. Not sure why Wikipedia said it was in Midland. I live in NC but I've never been to that track so thanks for catching that.

We used to have a race pool at one of my old jobs. The guy in charge had a can in a tube sock filled with numbered bottlecaps. I liked the idea so much I adopted it when I took over FCS from Lee. I draw for both the starting and finishing positions.

Let's just hope that she has better luck than Danica Patrick and Natalie Decker. Wait a second this is a fantasy series so a woman driver might have a chance! LOL! Jodie please don't hunt me down and kill me! Only kidding! Not really! LOL!

Lemme see, if'n I get this... pick a kit, make up a driver and sponsor, produce said build, post pictures here?

Is there a time frame and have I nailed the pertinent facts?

Details man! I need details!! (Ooh! that'd be good for my quotes!)

Really??! Shocked So what about time frame? I'm a planner. Is this like a community build project? Do I have to have it done by the last race on the list or do I pick a race to build it for? Sorry for being confused.

First race is at the world famous Milwaukee Mile on March 2nd. BTC Motorsports will be Fielding a Dodge for Travis Bickle of New York, New York, when asked if he was looking forward to his first season in fantasy Cup racing, he responded "are you talkin to me?" BTC Motorsports will also be Fielding a Ford for Mike "Fireball"Hairlip of Nowhereville, North Cackalacky and when asked about his chances this year, mr. "Fireball" responded "Mongo like Ford". You can expect some very intense racing this year with these two very well grounded and responsible drivers.

Official Rules: http://randyayersmodeling.com/modelingforum/viewtopic.php?t=1510

New for this year, you are allowed to race ASA cars and scales other than 1:24 and 1:25.

As for the deadline, if you want to be entered for the entire season, your entry needs to be in by Thursday, February 28th. Any entries made after that will not qualify until the following week. You only need to enter once.

BTW, last years champ was a female rabbit named Georgia. Very Happy

Sorry for the big pictures of the #87. I'm better at models than computers. This car was built as a tribute to my cousin Charles Stofel, Nascar hall of fame driver from Columbia,Tn.

Now, if they switch off, each driver will have his own points. I'd suggest having Larry drive for the whole season.
